Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to Cusco and City Tour
Morning: Arrival at Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport and transfer to your selected hotel for rest and acclimation.
1:30 PM - 6:30 PM: Pickup to begin the City Tour. Visit to the Qorikancha Temple (Temple of the Sun) followed by a tour of the outlying archaeological sites: Sacsayhuamán, Q'enqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay.
Night: Overnight stay in Cusco.
Day 2: Sacred Valley of the Incas
7:30 AM - 4:00 PM: Departure toward the Sacred Valley. Visit to the Pisac artisan market and ruins, followed by a buffet lunch in Urubamba. Continue to the Ollantaytambo fortress.
4:30 PM: Board the train at Ollantaytambo station bound for Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Town).
Night: Overnight stay in Aguas Calientes.
Day 3: Guided Tour of Machu Picchu and Return to Cusco
Morning: Shuttle bus transfer up to the citadel of Machu Picchu. A 2.5-hour guided tour along the assigned circuit.
Afternoon: Shuttle bus return to Aguas Calientes, free time for lunch, and then board the train back to Ollantaytambo.
Night: Bus transfer back from Ollantaytambo to Cusco city and overnight stay.
Day 4: Departure
Morning: Breakfast at the hotel and final transfer from your lodging to the airport or bus station.
